Former events manager Mags met Noel, a carpenter, in 2016 when they both returned from Australia.
Having travelled the world, they set their sights on coming up with an alternative business plan they could roll out at home.
Talking to many friends who were planning their weddings they realised there was a big gap in the Munster market for something fun and innovative to add to their big day. While a prosecco van topped their wish list, finding the perfect tuk-tuk to convert took longer than expected. While on the search Noel came across a used horse box and had a lightbulb moment to convert the horsebox into a blank canvas bar – something that could make any couple’s reception drinks dream come true be it a prosecco bar, gin bar, whiskey bar, tea & coffee bar….. Anything you would like Tipsy the horsebox could provide! Launching on New Year’s Eve 2017 Tipsy took off quickly with lots of couples looking to add something different to their day.
Noel’s carpentry skills also aided many couples to add creative props to their day tieing up all loose ends to create the theme and style wedding the couple had dreamed of. These requests lead to ‘The Little Extras’ division of The Litte Tipple company. Noel loves making couple dreams come to life and is happy to turn any wooden idea into a reality. No job is too big or too small for him to create!
Early in 2018, their original dream took a step further when they found the perfect tuk-tuk to convert into a prosecco van. Currently finalising the tap instalments they are hoping to launch XXX the TukTuk in mid-2018. Watch this space for updates on the launch.
